SSSC recruitment for Stenographers in Punjab Courts 2017


Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up of following posts of Stenographers Gr.III Clerks on behalf of the District and Sessions Judges of the State of Punjab  by Society for Centralized Recruitment of Staff in Subordinate Courts under High Court of Punjab and Haryana (SSSC)  by way of direct recruitment through a competitive examination : 



Vacancies :


  • Stenographer Gr.-III : 229 posts in District and Sessions Judges courts of Punjab, Pay Scale : Rs. 5910-20200 Grade Pay Rs. 2800/-, Age : 18 - 37  years as on 01/01/2017, Qualification :  Degree of Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science or equivalent thereto from a recognized university and must have proficiency in operation of computers (Word Processing and Spread Sheets). Candidates should have passed matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subject or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi Language, which may be specified by the Government from time to time. 

Application Fee :


The applicants have to deposit the requisite fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rs.250/- of SC/BC/OBC/ESM of Punjab) (Rs. 500/- for General PHC of Punjab) (Rs. 125/- for SC/BC/OBC/ESM of Punjab PHC) (Rs. 1000/- for Reserved category of other states) by way of Cash Deposit Receipt printed after completion of Step-I of registration, in any branch of State Bank of India only. 

Written Examination :


The examination is likely to be conducted in the month of May, 2017.

How to Apply :


Apply Online at SSSC website from 20/03/2017 to 18/04/2017 only for Registration Step-I and last date is 21/04/2017 for Registration Step-II.
