Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited – OPTCL Recruitment 2016: Central Electricity Supply Company of Odisha Ltd is responsible for power transmission and distribution across Odisha. Originally, the licence to operate in the state was guaranteed in 1999, by Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission under the provision of Odisha Electricity Reform Act, 1995 to Central Electricity Supply Company of Odisha Ltd. However, the license was revoked in April 2005, and the management was shifted under Central Electricity Supply Utility of Odisha ( Operation and Management ) Scheme, 2006 in September 2006. The company also manages the state load dispatch center, which monitors and controls the grid operations.

Eligibility Criteria for OPTCL Recruitment:

Educational Qualification : Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or possess such other qualification equivalent there to And the candidate must have adequate knowledge in computer application.

Nationality : Indian

Age Limit : 21 to 32 years as on 01.01.2016

Age Relaxation : 

For SC, ST, SEBC and Woman candidates : 05 years

For PWD candidates : 10 years

Job Location : Bhubaneswar ,Odisha.

Application Fee: Unreserved, SEBC Category Candidates have to pay Rs.500/-  and Rs. 250/- for SC,ST,PWD through Debit,Credit Card,Net Banking OR Off-line payment mode by ICICI Bank Challan.
