Recruitment of Sailors Sports Quota in Navy

Applications are invited from unmarried Male Candidates for Enrollment as Sailors - Sports Quota Entry 01/2017 Batch. 

Age :

17-22  years for Direct Entry Petty Officer, 17-21 Years for Senior Secondary Recruitment (SSR), 17-21 Years for Matric Recruits / Non - Matric Recruits.

Educational Qualification :

10+2 qualified in any stream or equivalent examination., 10th qualified for Matric Recruits.

Pay :

During the initial training period they will be paid ₹5700/-PM, on completion of initial training they will be posted in the regular pay scale of ₹5200-20200 grade ₹2000 and Military service pay ₹2000 and other allowances.

Selection Criteria :

Deserving candidates would be called to appear for trials at designated Naval Centres.

Sports Discipline :

Outstanding sportsman who have participated at International/ Junior or Senior National Championship / Senior State  Championship / All India Inter University Championship in the disciplines mentioned below may apply for Recruitment :

• Athletics, Aquatics, Basket Ball, Boxing, Cricket,  Football, Gymnastic, Hand Ball, Hockey, Kabaddi, Volley Ball, Weight Lifting, Wrestling, Squash and Best Physique and Equestrian (Horse Polo)

How to Apply:

Application Forms, in accordance with the prescribed format, and complete in all respects should be sent through Ordinary Post only with the type of entry, sports discipline with achievements is to be clearly on top of the envelope containing the application. Envelope should be Brown colour with attested documents, two self-addressed envelopes of size 22x10 cms with Rs.10/- stamp affixed on one envelope should be sent to: The Secretary, Indian Navy Sports Control Board, 7th Floor, Chanakya Bhavan, Integrated Headquarters, MoD (Navy), New Delhi - 110021

Last date of receiving the application is 12/12/2016. For far-flung areas the last date is 19/12/2016.
